This is a WordPress website and blog. WordPress automatically captures certain data about visitors to the site – you can read more about the information they capture and their privacy policy here.
Information about you which may be accessible to me:
When you send me a comment via the website, I receive an email with your name and email address and any other information you have provided in the message. Similarly, when you subscribe to my blog, your email address is made available to me via WordPress. Following my actor page on facebook, or my twitter or instagram accounts, also gives me access to links to your pages on these social media. If you follow my social media accounts and blog, or post a message to me via this website, I consider this to be a clear affirmative, specific, and unambiguous action as defined by the GDPR, giving consent for this information to be stored. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Storage and use of this information:
If you’ve signed up to follow my blog, you will receive notification when a new post appears. You’ll have received a message from WordPress when you signed up which explains how to unsubscribe at any time. If that’s the case, I’ll be sorry to see you go, but will understand.
If you send me a message via my contact page, I will keep your name, email address and any other information you’ve sent only as long as I need it to deal with your enquiry. While I hold this email, it and your information will be securely, confidentially stored. As soon as our business together is done, I will delete any emails from you containing personal information. If I’d like to hold on to your contact details for possible future work, I will ask your permission to do so.
If you’ve subscribed to the blog, or followed me on facebook, twitter, or instagram, you will see posts concerning my upcoming work and that of people I like. Again, you can unsubscribe/ unfollow me at any time. Other than these, I do not send marketing emails.
Under no circumstances will I sell or share your personal information to or with any third parties.
Access to your information
You can contact me via this website if you would like a copy of the information I hold about you. I will delete any data immediately if you ask me to do so, or apply any corrections, or restrictions to the processing of the data, which you request.
If you feel your data has been misused, you have a right to complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office – in the UK. Other countries have data protection supervisory authorities).
